Spirit's 1st Birthday Party!!

Spirit (on the right) with friend's Jesse and Jules

Spirit sure looks like his dad, 'BG', but he's a party animal like his mom, our own 'Jesse', which is not the same as the one in this photo.  The dog on the left is also called 'Jesse' but that one is out of our girl 'Maybe' and 'Bandit'.  Little 'Jules' in the middle was a rescue dog that found a great home with these two doggie-characters.  Happy Birthday, Spirit!!

then, and now!

 Wahene 2007  Bluebelle's 2005

This is Berrigan waving HI, from the 2005 litter, the day he went home. This is Bluebelle above, and Berrigan, currently.

Berrigan is owned and loved by Donna Barkheimer and family of San Diego, Ca. and Bluebelle is owned and loved by

Chris Sommers and his adoring family also of San Diego and neighbors to the Barkheimers. Shawn and her two very little children, Hanna and Davis, bought Bluebelle for their daddy for his birthday, (he'd always wanted a blue merle Aussie) when she was just a week old. Then, they brought Daddy out, blindfolded to see his birthday present a couple weeks later. It was the most touching and successful birthday surprise, I've ever witnessed. Chris is a very blessed man.

 Placement Stories

RTM 'Malachi'

  BTF 'Nubbins'

Malachi recently got his forever home. He is just a sweetie so I couldn't bear to take down his last puppy photo. He really loves kids! He is calm but spirited. He'd be good in most any type of Aussie sport or just a great companion.  He enjoys all the attention he can get and is very loving. Also recently placed in her forever home, miss Nubbins (named for her natural bobbed tail) will be missed. She's a very intelligent pup. She's the top dog, too. Nothing gets past her, she'd be a great watch dog.  She also has great potential to excel in herding or agility.  (Baby photos above!)
