Dixie

5yr old, intact Red Merle Female

littermate to Coronado's 'Yaky'

Bowie

6 yr old, neutered Blue Merle Male

son of Coronado's 'GoGo'

Dixie and Bowie have lived their lives basically as 'backyard' dogs.  These lovely, healthy Aussies have amazing potential and are still young enough to be trained for dog sports or to give nearly a decade more of companionship.

Both dogs need jobs and are not suited to merely a 'backyard' lifestyle which is all they have access to in their current home.  Neither are 'house' dogs but older dogs are very easy to house train (and are usually 'grateful' for such privileges).  Their family is focusing on raising a new baby and want the dogs to be in a home where they will get much more attention.

Dixie is intact and, pending appropriate genetic health certifications, could be bred.  She is a littermate to Coronado's 'Yaky' (click to see Yaky's page to view pedigree).  Dixie 'herds' children - that might be easily fixed with knowledgeable training but must be managed until she is reliable with kids.  She will play ball all day!

Bowie is neutered and needs a bit more socialization with dogs (barks at unknown dogs).  He's great with kids of all ages and is very playful.  He needs a brush up on his professional training but he has been taught how to walk at your side, stay and down.  He's such a gorgeous boy.

They are available for immediate adoption.  It would be great if they could have a home together (they love each other).  But they could be separated if the right homes came along for them very soon.  Thank you for your interest in these beautiful, loving dogs.
